Synopsis
One of the most popular action shows of the early 1980s, Knight Rider inspired a devoted following because of its high-tech premise and the appeal of star David Hasselhoff. Hasselhoff plays Michael Knight, a former cop who is paired with KITT, an indestructible car with numerous special functions, including artificial intelligence. Michael and KITT roam the country, righting wrongs and stopping criminal plots. This collection includes all the episodes from the third season.

Season 3 was when Knight Rider hit its stride with some terrific episodes such as my favourites which are Knight of the drones Kitt VS Karr Junkyard Dog Knight Strike and Knight In Retreat and also not forgetting Knight In Disgrace. all the other episodes like Circus Knights and even Lost Knight (even though that was exactly like Season 2's Knightmares where it's Michael who gets the amnesia treatment.) there are so many episodes of Season 3 that you want in there as your favourites but i think i've summed up the episodes i like and probably the fans of Knight Rider like.

This is the best of the supermachine series from the early to mid eighties which included top tv as Airwolf and Street Hawk.
The season has some of the best episodes for the entire series (which ran for 4 years. Gems such as the return for KARR, in KITT Vs KARR, the great two parter - Knight of the Drones and the highly rated fan fav Junkyard Dog.
Long live the action, long live the fun, enjoy the swimsuites too !!!

I am a huge, huge fan of Knight Rider and I agree with other reviewers, this is where the series truly hit its stride with some of the best episodes of all the four seasons to choose from. There is the season premire where KITT gets a face lift after being destroyed by a missile in Knight of the Drones, the excellent KITT vs KARR and a whole host of other episodes. Patricia McPherson (Bonnie) is back and about time too - she certainly fits the role of KITT's "mother" better than April did back in season 2.
The only downside is there's nothing in the way of extras on this boxset, I think we felt a bit spoiled after season one, but it would have been nice to have had something on here to browse through for us Knight Rider fantatics.
With the recent revival of Knight Rider airing in america as we speak - and no Pontiac (gasp!) stick with the original and the best - and Season three is where it is at is best! So settle back, put the discs in your DVD player and take a shadowy flight into the world of a man who does not exist!
