About the Author

Francis Beaumont and his long-time collaborator John Fletcher succeeded Shakespeare as chief dramati sts of the King's Men. His other solo writing credits include The Woman Hater, Philaster, and The Ma id's Tragedy. This will be the play's first major London revival since it played at the Aldwych Thea tre in 1981, produced by the RSC. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.
