Does anyone else have a problem when kneading bread dough? I tried for the first time today and ended up with the dough stuck on the dough hook rather than it actually kneading it. Could this be due to adding slightly too much liquid? Or not enough? Any tips appreciated.
I've had this problem before; try kneading on speed 3 for 5 minutes. You might have to stand with your hand onthe machine to stop it moving for those 5 minutes, but it works well, even with a wetter dough. Don't know why, but the loaves I make are excellent.
