For me, for an erotica book to be good, one of the most important thing is that the story flows naturally. I read such books to lose myself within those pages. If the writing does not flow naturally then I am not able to get into it. The writing in this book flows very naturally. The other thing that is a requirement with me is not so much good story line, I can get those elsewhere but hard hot arousing bdsm scenes, filling almost the entire book, from beginning to end. You get that also from this book. A good arousing feed beginning to end.

Harry Wiggins, the 'hero' of this book, is a real find in erotic fiction. According to the blurb 'the French Girl is just unfortunate but Harry plays a dangerous game of double-cross among the temptations of unbridled depravity.' I really like Harry, as he develops through the three Klitzman novels we have so far. And is the French girl unfortunate? That is certainly an understatement!!!!!!!

Surprisingly Enjoyable 23 April 2007
By T. K. Tuck - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This book will make you cringe in spots. Not solely due to the at times very extreme sexually degradation but also because of the wrenching transformations the main characters go through.

Now I will not lie and profess this book to be best of the best yet it is amazingly well written within the perimeters of its genre.

The book is short and at times elements seem to be rushed in order to fit.

This book is very much a treat. Imagine your most secret sexual fantasies given flesh through words. These are the things you think about but would never act upon in real life but here Paul Blades shows us how delightfully wicked those dark musings could be.

This was the first book of this type which I have read and though it is slightly flawed it was something I read in one session simply because I couldn't put it down. Some of the scenes go againist what I personally was raised to believe but like passing a wreck on the highway I couldn't pull away. I had to look and Paul Blades seems to understand this complusion and turns it into a force which propels the hero as well as the reader through a bizzare world of matinee movie quality villians , forcible submissive women and tons of dripping wet sex.

By the books end , much like the hero , the reader is no longer an observer but a partcipant yearning for the next scene to arise but alas the book finishes leaving one longing for more.

If you are looking for a book which reads believably yet indugles in the most fanciful realms of bondage and submission then this is for you.Enjoy.

Dark Fantasy 7 Feb. 2008
By Kristin - Published on Amazon.com

I wish this book were only a dark fantasy.

That said, I enjoyed this book. Although it is definitely not a romantic tale of bdsm, the writer draws you in to sympathize with the tormented female captives and even the recruited "hood" who is reluctantly drawn into his role of "master/spy."

There is a real element of suspense, of "how will the character react to changing events" and at the end you know you have to get the next book, Klitzman's Empire, to find out what happens.

This book will definitely raise your blood pressure... the scenes are hot! I think I tolerated the truly horrendous things the women suffered only because I felt the writer was on their side. The hero (or anti-hero) also shows a conscience and a spot of honor on occasion that saves him from true villainy.

This book is rather hardcore, so if you want happy endings, you'll just have to hope for future books to give them (and I do), but it is a sexy thriller that keeps you reading.

Klitzman's Isle 10 Nov. 2006
By Fica - Published on Amazon.com

The author is unusually good. The book is not only very well written, it is tastefully written. For those into such scenes of dominance and submission, he is very good at them. He keeps the action going, scene after scene from beginning to end, keeping them interesting, tintillating all the way through. I recommend it highly.

How nice it is to see an imprint (his is the fourth from Bondage Books)giving really strong stories of erotic domination that are tasteful. Heartily recommended.

Klitzman's Isle 4 Jun. 2012
By Sarah - Published on Amazon.com

Don't go into this expecting great literature, but it's very enjoyable for what it is. As such, my 4-star rating isn't necessarily meant to be in comparison to every book ever written, but is given considering the context. This is a porn-y novel that centers on abducting women and turning them into sex slaves. Each chapter alternates between one of two stories. The first is that of a French girl who has been abducted and is enslaved, raped, beaten, and sold into slavery. The other story is about Harry Wiggins, a convicted murderer who is serving life in prison but escapes with help from the mysterious Klitzman and sent to far-off lands to become a supervisor at a resort filled with abducted women who have been enslaved. Harry is able to remain somewhat of a sympathetic character because he doesn't have much more choice to go along with the whole thing than any of the girls do--but at the same time, he certainly enjoys their use and abuse. This is not a book for anyone looking for romance or consensual BDSM, but if you're looking for a brutal, nonconsensual, male-dom fantasy and you care more about the action than the quality of the writing, you'll probably like this!
