I bought these (at a bargain £33.99!) to replace my defunct Sennheiser CX 400-IIs. I knew they had a 2 year warranty but had just generally been disappointed with the sound quality.

I had weighed up these against the Image S4s (on Amazon for slightly more) but from looking at the Klipsch website they seemed to be of identical spec so I took the plunge.

Wow. From the off the packaging oozed class and once open the phones not only looked fantastic but were light and of decent build quality. Putting them in they were comfortable immediately but had they not been I'm sure one of the other 3 sets of gels would have been fine too. The sound quality is probabaly the best I've experienced, with a full representation across the soundscape. It's doing Steven Wilson (Grace for drowning) justice! We'll have to see how they handle wear and tear in the coming months but with a 2 year warranty I'm not worried and first impressions are quite robust. I'm yet to try the VOIP (and in all honesty may not at all) but I'd be supreised if it wasn't up to the same standards as the rest of the package.

I would recommend these to anyone at full price but if you can snap them up as I did you're looking at the deal of the century!

UPDATE: About a month in the little signal splitter cable broke. I emailed Klipsch and they sent a replacement out the same day!

UPDATE 2: 5 months in now - they have survived a trip through the washing machine! Initially I thought I'd knackered them but after drying out thoroughly they still work absolutely fine. I literally cannot recommend this product enough.

These headphones were pretty much exactly what I expected. They sound excellent and without going into an unintelligible audiophile babble I would say they're about 30% better than every other in ear headphone I've owned at the £30-£60 mark. The cable is very sturdy which I know is an issue on these headphone's clone - the S4's. Also for those of you worrying about the colour - don't worry, in the flesh the colour is fine. What's not to like. You would be a complete fool to get the S4's over these. Why would you pay £10 more to get an older brand version of the same headphones with a dodgy cable?
Don't pay too much attention to these being 'Gamer' headphones, I and I'm sure nearly everyone else who buys these headphones wouldn't class themselves as a hardcore gamer complete with Alienware laptop. They are perfect for whatever you want to do be that walking, running, on public transport use as noise isolators or whatever. I suspect there also OK for gaming as well!

Bought these specifically for my iPad to use on the go. Now use them all the time, even in the house if I want to listen to music without disturbing others.
The sound quality is excellent, they are comfy to wear, even for longer periods. Controls are easy to use and are universal in their application. They also come with a handy carry case with some extras.
Service from the supplier was also excellent.

My search for the perfect earphones/headphones has been so far, an expensive and disappointing one - until now! Among my collection are Sennheisers, jays, marshalls - I could go on:-). You can imagine that with this lot and more, I was a little hesitant to try another new choice, but nothing I had was comfortable. I hate that tight pressure feeling with most buds so I was intrigued by the oval shaped tips on these babies and joy- they're the most comfortable EVER
The sound is amazing - blows my jays and marshalls out of the water, and the comfort means I can actually use them, and at this price, honestly - just get them, you can thank me later:-)

I bought these in late 2012, and they barely lasted a year before the cable started coming apart. For the price point, this is disappointing. I had to hold them together with tape and superglue to keep them going!

The mic is essentially useless. It functions as an inline control which I guess is handy but you simply cannot use it outdoors. It just picks up wind noise and no-one will hear what you're saying if you try to use it hands-free, even in still conditions.

The sound quality was great while it lasted, but I'd advise against these in general because of the poor build quality and worthless microphone. Go for the Sennheisers instead: B008V6T1IW I picked them up as a replacement for these, at about half the cost, and they are simply better made. Klipsch let me down.

I've held off writing this review for a couple of weeks to give the earphones a chance, and it's a good thing I did.

Out of the pack, they were horrible. Seriously bad, to the point where I thought no amount of burn in would make these sounds as good as my old CX870's. Listening to music (in this case some Asteroids Galaxy Tour) they actually seemed to be crackling at the high end, almost like they'd blown. Thankfully, I thoroughly read through all the reviews and realised it was because I hadn't attached the adapter with the TWO rings to my android phone - they just don't work on android phones without doing this (don't know about iPhones). I then plugged them in and let them run for about 20 hours before wearing them properly, they've been running for around 50 hours now and are sounding really good!

Adding the two ring adapter adds about 10cm to what is already a decent length cable, I've found I need to loop the cable a few times in the middle and cable tie it to reduce the length, otherwise it dangles excessively - perhaps not an issue if you can get the single-button control to work (but I can't) because you could leave your phone and excess cable in your pocket, whereas I have to keep taking it out.

Having said that, there is a benefit to having the adapter. For me, as I walk and sit quite a lot with my earphones plugged in there's a lot of movement of the cable by the adapter and this tends to be where my earphone cables break. With the adapter, the movement is actually on this part of the cable and not the main cable, so if damage does occur I'm assuming it won't cost much to simply replace the adapter?
