Amazon Verified Purchase
The immediate response to using these is that the sound is VERY detailed, even compared to the Sennheisers I was using before, but a bit "light" and slightly tinny. Then you try them again, they are still detailed, but now they have a lovely "punch" across the range. Why? Well in common with many in-ear 'phones they need to be well placed in the ear to get the best out of them. So pay the money, they are fantastic! But be careful how you place them to get the best sound!

Bought an iGroove last xmas and am really happy with the purchase so decided to give the Image X1s a try as the standard iPod ear buds are so bad. Arrived promptly on Friday morning and initial impressions are really good. Tested them whilst out walking in the park this weekend and really delighted with the sound and especially the comfort. They come with a handy pouch and in my humble opinion are definitely worth the money! Thanks Amazon!!

First of all i hate giving bad or mediocre review unless entirely merited,
I was really looking forward to getting these because of the great reviews.
To me they just don't fit right no matter which bud you try,S ,M or L sizes.In fact they are very uncomfortable so that you're always aware that they are there,totally opposite to hype about them being the perfect shape for the ear canal.They felt a bit sore and left my ears feeling irritated.If you are sitting in the one spot and use them for short periods you might not even notice this but i needed something to use on the go for several hours at a time.
Having said this my wife tried them and had no problems.
On the good side,the sound quality is outstanding (one extra star for that!!!)once you fiddle around with the fit and they "burn in".Build quality seems pretty good too.
Cons-Hard to get right position in ear,horrible comfort,causes ears to become sore.
Pros-Good build quality,excellent sound reproduction akin to much more expensive sets.
So overall ,good for commuting or laptop use but not good for long walks ,gym or jogging.

Not recommended
Awful things. Uncomfortable in the ear, but, more importantly after about 15 minutes, your ears will feel like they are on fire. Good sound until they become intolerable
