The Image ONE stereo headphones bring high-performance Klipsch sound to people who prefer an on-ear headphone design, and is among the first to feature an Apple-based mic and three-button remote for taking calls and controlling music on iPods, iPhones or iPads.

    - Full music and/or voice control on select Apple products
    - Adjustable leather headband for custom fit
    - Professional grade foam ear cups provide premium comfort and noise isolation
    - Ear cups fold flat for easy storage/travel
    - Colors: Black w/chrome and leather accents

    Amazing Comfort and Fit

These compact stereo headphones are extremely comfortable and offer the same powerful, detailed sound reproduction that has made Klipsch a popular choice among discriminating listeners since 1946. Each lightweight, pivoting ear cup features premium leather and a special high-density memory foam for hours of listening pleasure and superior passive noise-cancellation, which blocks out ambient noise and provides enhanced bass. And unlike noise-cancelling headphone designs, the Image One does not require batteries. Just plug them into any device with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and you're ready to enjoy the full impact of your tunes.

The Image ONE is also one of the first on-ear stereo headphones to feature an Apple-based mic and three-button remote system for taking calls and controlling music on iPods, iPhones or iPads. The mic and remote functionality support select Apple products, and are positioned at the cable yoke - where the two cables meet at chest level - to create a more natural feel when answering calls and controlling music. The mic is a highly intelligible 360 degree design with echo cancellation, so your voice will be heard crystal clear without having to talk down, or directly, into it.

Furthermore, because cable durability is so important, Klipsch has gone to great lengths to make the Image ONE headphone cables both ro

5.0 out of 5 stars My first expensive pair of headphones 28 Feb 2011
This is the first time I've spent more than 50 on a pair of headphones. i was tired of ear buds falling out while walking, or the plastic cup bits coming off in my handbag etc etc. I've been toying with the idea of getting some on ear ones for a while but was reluctant as I didn't want to look like some music genius as I walked to work in my suit and high heels.
However a trip to the Apple Store ended up with me walking out with these headphones and a new iPod. These headphones are a revelation, I'm hearing nuances in tracks that I've never noticed before. They're very comfortable they don't feel too bulky on and the carry case is a plus, sleek and easily fits in my bag. Looking forward to trying them on a plane. For me they cut out just enough noise. I can still hear announcements on the tube etc and not sit there like a numpty when everyone else has heard it terminates at the next station. I can still hear what's going on in the office, but can happily listen to some calming music if I want to crack on with a piece of work.
All in all very pleased - just wish I'd bought them on Amazon, would have got them for 30 cheaper than I paid at the Apple Store!

I first purchased the Beats Solo HD by Dre. I would not class myself as an audiophile, however having spent just shy of 900 on audio equipment in the last year or so I believe I can tell the difference between good speakers and bad speakers quite well. The Solo HDs have extremely muddy mids and highs. Even average audio enthusiasts will notice this. I therefore returned them to the Apple store and replaced them with these Klipsch's.

My word, these headphones are MILES better. This is a subjective opinion (of over 10 people I have tested) and objective I believe. They are also 30 odd pounds cheaper. I guarantee anyone who purchases these headphones will be very pleased with their sound quality. The bass is very impressive and extremely tight (I'm a hip hop fan so bass is extremely important and I am more than pleased). The mids and highs are also SPOT on. They sound very clear, do not sound processed and easily complement any genre of music. (Jazz is also a favourite of mine so good quality highs and mids are important).

The only downsides I can see about these headphones is the fact that there is a cable running from both the left and right earphones, but that is a very minor issue and in NO way should swing the decision on purchasing them. The other downside being that there is a little bit of sound leakage at really high volumes so if you're in a lecture for example and decide music is more interesting than Java coding (for example!) then the people around may not be pleased. In the majority of situations, however, this will probably not be an issue. You will be very pleased if you purchase these. Hope I helped :)

    5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Top Notch !!! 1 Aug 2011
Quite simply these headphones are awesome in every way ! If you've got an iPhone these are a must have companion. Forget the Bose, Dr Dre etc etc ... these are overrated and overpriced in my opinion and thats speaking from experience. These klipsch Image are at least 40 cheaper than other equivalents and after my experience of them would say:

they sound out of this world, you are literally immersed in the music
bass, mids and highs all sound clear and true
    they look classy and stylish
    are very well made
the travel pouch is hard cased and stylish itself
the 3 button control and mic work very well and is placed perfectly
the jack fits perfectly through the iPhone bumper
they are extremely comfortable, ideal for long hours of use
they realise the iPhone built in equaliser brilliantly

My only observation is they come across as a little bass heavy when listening to music which is bass rich (ie rock, hip hop, RnB. I personally don't mind this, quite the opposite, but some people would call this a flaw. I listen to music predominantly with the EQ off, but adjusting this setting can "calm" the bass if it is too overpowering.

My wife tried them on and previously, headphones were headphones to her, but after listening to these she said "I want some now !".

Opinions on head phone style, sound, durability etc etc is highly subjective and to a large degree subject to personal preference. All I would say is that if you are thinking of investing in a superior pair of headphones to that supplied with the iPhone and prefer the on-ear type, then in my opinion you will not be disappointed in these.

Hats off and a salute to Klipsch !

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy NOW- there is no need to hesitate! 17 Feb 2012
Like you I read reviews. I then re-read them! I'm careful with my money, some (possibly many!) would say tight. So be assured that parting with 80 to pay for headphones, when headphones come free with the devices I have previously bought, was NOT undertaken lightly. That's my introduction.

My main point: I have heard things through these headphones in the music, I have listened to for years, for the first time. That says enough about the quality. However if you are also an Apple addict then there is no contest or need for more discussion.
These headphones operate and are operated by my iPhone's, iClassic, iNano, iShuffle and the MacBook Pro.

So my conclusion is look NO further, don't waste the time you could be enjoying what these headphones can do with your music any longer. Be grateful that you have ears to cover and the ability to hear sound- these headphones enhance your sense.

This is the first review I have ever written. I have never felt motivated to write one before.

    Did I do alright?

    Kind regards

    Charlie
