Product Description

Being one of the world's smallest and lightest headphones on sale doesn't stop the Klipsch X11i from sounding amazing!FIRST RATE SOUND QUALITYPowering these miniature marvels is a full-range armature micro-driver with a tuned bass-reflex system. They give the Klipsch X11i a powerful, distortion-free sound quality that fully immerses you in the music yet doesn't fatigue or sound tinny. Given their tiny size you might be surprised by just how deep and powerful the bass sounds, too: yet it never dominates the mix.SUPERIOR COMFORT AND PASSIVE NOISE ISOLATIONThe X11i is also one of the most comfortable earphones around. Key to the X11i's comfort and sound quality are the unique oval tip buds. Coming in five different sizes, these create an airtight seal within your ear. A perfect seal means greatly reduced background noise; so you can hear more detail and don't have to turn the music up so loud to compensate. Once correctly sized and adjusted you'll hardly notice you're even wearing them, such is the comfort.QUALITY CONSTRUCTIONWhen you're spending this much on a pair of earphones you want them to be well made, and that's exactly what the X11i's are. Featuring strain relief at every connection, the X11i's are as tough as any miniature earphones can be. Thanks to their durable aluminium bodies, they also look pretty special, too.TAKE CALLS ON YOUR IPHONEFeaturing a high quality, 360 degree microphone and three-button remote, the Klipsch X11i is ideal for use with your iPhone. In addition to controlling the music and call accept, it's also compatible with voice control on selected Apple products. The directional mic helps with hands-free, crystal clear phone calls.Tiny and unobtrusive yet full-bodied in sound and sturdy of build, the Klipsch X11i are amongst the best earphones in their class.2 year limited guarantee included

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, great sound! 22 Jan 2014

Klipsch has supposedly addressed the durability issues of the X10i with this latest X11i release. The IEMs look good and although the cables are thin they are kevlar reinforced so they should hold up ok. The sound using them with my 160GB iPod Classic is phenomenal in that it the X11i seems to work brilliantly straight out of the box - they will only get better with running in. Streets ahead of the Sennheiser 300s I was using before in terms of detail and soundstage. I will be looking after these IEMs carefully and keeping them in their supplied beautiful little case when not in use. If I get problems with cables, plugs, etc in the future I will definitely be updating this review but as of right now I heartily recommend the X11i.

These are my second set and in my view, Klipch are the best earphones available at this price. Highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars There's just something missing... 24 July 2014
So, after having had my Shure SE315's for about 3 years I decided it was time for an upgrade. I've always been an enormous fan of Shure and was a little sceptical of other makes that people claimed to be just as great. But, I decided to take a leap of faith and grab a pair of these bad boys after having read many a favourable review.

Mostly, I use in ear headphones with portable devices and never use any sort of DAC or portable amp. I don't have a devoted music player at present so instead use my phone (LG G3) with music running through the full Poweramp app. My phone has a 128GB SD card in it as my music is mostly in FLAC format.

The X11i's, in general, perform very well. But simply put, I just don't think they're worth the asking price. The earphones themselves aren't detachable which is a bit of a worry as I've lost many a pair of headphones via the old 'wire getting caught round a door handle' problem. The remote doesn't support android devices... I mean c'mon, I don't know whether it's just a conflicting development thing but for this price, it should have support across all operating systems. While the sound quality is fantastic compared to lower end products, it just doesn't beat my old pair of SE315's which are a good 80 cheaper. The clarity is superb but... there's just something missing. Everything's there and it sounds great, just not... gahhh I don't know quite how to explain it.

The X11i's are incredible, just not 200 incredible...

5.0 out of 5 stars A good as they should be! 23 Jan 2014

I finally decide to take the plunge and fork out for the X11i's. Having destroyed the packaging to get them out of the box I picked some tracks I knew well and pressed play. I was blown away! A great step from my previous headphones, everything was so clear and precise, there we new depths and instruments I'd never been able to hear before. Wonderful! I have previously owned headphones like the Sennheiser CX300i (good at the price very bassy), PFE 122 (the most expensive before now and lacking in umpfh), Sennheiser MM70i (good), and Marley Zions (very loud cable rub thanks to the fabric). Aside from the great sound the cable seems to be good and not tangle, and is longer than most. The fit isn't as comfortable as others have found it but the weight makes them nearly unnoticeable. Cable rub noise isn't bad and the small diameter makes for a reduced noise if walking on a windy day. The Medium size buds fit me. There is a large-ish carry pouch supplied which contains the large jack adapter and can hold it and the headphones but annoyingly perhaps not the little mounting tray the ear bud options come on so you can keep everything together. I am concerned about the normal jack being straight but I gave up trying to find a good 90 degree angle jack headphone. I hope the improvements to the build durability are substantial as I normally have the headphones plugged into my phone which is rammed into my front pocket. (If not the 2 year warranty may be getting tested). Hope you enjoy them too if you buy them!

3.0 out of 5 stars Incredible sound but major flaw 17 July 2014
By Ale
The sound quality of these headphones is beyond anything else you can get for this price. They make Beats and Bose sound cheap and tinny! And the fit of the buds is very comfortable and really blocks out other sound. So why the 3 stars? Supposedly Klipsch fixed their durability with the X11s but I've now been using these for 7 months and the cable fixture at the bottom has come out so the wires are bare and just waiting to snap. I had the same problem with the X10s. So great sound but they need to improve their wearability.
