This is one of the most impressive albums released in recent times. Listening to it reminded me of when I first heard Stina Nordenstam's 'And She Closed Her Eyes'. There is a vibrancy and brilliance here which is rarely heard. The artist has a complete mastery of myriad musical forms, combining electronics and guitars and strings in a way that is unerring. Too many women artists come along and are awarded undue praise, because it is fashionable to listen to 'kooky' women artists. Klima is the exception to the rule. She should be placed alongside Stina, Anja Garbarek, early Bjork, as an example of true musical artistry, both visionary and beautiful. Vocally she sounds a bit like Nina Persson, with a dash of Stina as well. But this album is more about the music than the voice. The best album released so far this year.
