This is a good read for anyone trying to learn (more) about Klaus Barbie, the infamous Butcher of Lyon. The book is well-researched and interesting, though it gets a bit confusing in places because there is too much detail on things that are irrelevant, such as the names and numbers of various agency departments and the like. This makes reading somewhat cumbersome, though it obviously shows as well the depth of research that went into the book. The book contains quite a few photos that supplement the text and it's altogether a very good read (albeit quite gory in some places).

Having ordered this used copy, I wondered what condition the book would be in, in relation to the description. I am delighted with it and the transaction. Well done to all concerned, it has given me confidence for the next time I need to search for a book.
