Product Description
The Kiwifotos LA-58S2600T Lens Adapter is a two piece adapter (back component & front component) made of black anodized aluminium. The lens adapter provides both 58mm and 72mm filter mount for adding effects filters or other lens accessories to the camera.
With the back component can a 58mm filter to improve picture quality at widest zoom and it will not cause vignetting. In this situation the full zoom function is not available.
If you wish to use a teleconverter and macro/close up lenses in full zoom you can screw both parts of the lens adapter together and add a 72mm filter, although this may cause vignetting.

Having owned a Fujifilm S2500 HD for a couple of months, I was pleased to find this new product available on Amazon - being keen to use a circular polarising filter for improved landscape/sky/water photography. The S2500 and family of Fujifilm bridge cameras needs an adapter to support additional filters, and at this price this product is a baragain. Well constructed from anodised aluminium it supports both 58mm and 72mm filters, is quite light, with well machined threads and fits a Hama 58mm very smoothly. The inside of the adapter has a ring of felt material to reduce scratching to the camera shell. A great little bit of kit at bargain price.

As fuji don't bother with a filter thread, this is the only alternative if you want to use wide or tele lens adapters. Tube fits over the cameras lens and is held in place by a 'grub' screw.

I wanted to fit a protector lens to my new Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S2800 HD Digital Camera (14MP, 18x Zoom, 3.0 inch LCD Screen) the camera has no filter thread; then I found this, what a brilliant idea
It does make my camera look like an 80's SLR but it's interesting when people ask "Whats that?". It does create vignetting at it's longer length on wide angle pictures, but you can always remove it or reduce it to 1 extension. BEWARE if you zoom in with the shorter length and you have a filter attached, the camera lens will extend beyond the filter lens and that isn't good' as most of my work is telephoto this isn't an issue for me. One review referred to a felt band on the inside of the tube, mine didn't however it is close fitting enough that I don't have an issue with that.
Well engineered good quality bit of kit I'm glad I bought mine, if you want to protect your main lens and use mainly telephoto then I would reccommend highly.

there is vegnetting result if using flash.
i use it with my fujifilm finepix S1700.knowing that the lense is moving in and out when zooming there is a circular effect on taking photos in wide angle. Read more
