A Kid's Review
Format:Paperback
I simply loved this book! I have read all the real st.Clares books by Enid Blyton and thoroughly enjoyed them. This one is written by Pamela Cox, but don't be put off by that. It is the next book from Pamela Cox's "Third Form at St.Clares and I would advise you to read that one first if you already haven't.
This book is about Pat and Isabel, Janet, Bobby, Carlotta, Hilary and all the other children at St.Clares. New girl Kitty Flaherty brings along her pet goat McGinty and this causes all kinds of trouble. Then there is the Feud between the second and third formers who are having to share a common room currently. But a clever trick causes the lovely head girl Jenny Mills to lose her position and the horrible Margaret Winters becomes Head girl instead. Margaret sets out to make trouble for the third form but Kitty is just a bit too clever for her and teaches her a lesson she won't easily forget.
Fantastic!

I found this story of Pam Cox one of her better stories.
It has fun, laughter and suspense!
Amazingly the characters are not quite as sneakish or spiteful as they sometimes are.
Even the headgirl of St Clare's that semester is fairly human having a view that wants to help others as headgirls should..
