Well, what did I expect? There are lots of pictures of cute kitties for the cat-lover in your life, but don't expect to play a game.

The cutest card game ever

Kittenwar, based on the website, is played like the traditional card game "War" (there are several different variations of the game in the instructions). Each card has a picture, name, "rank: and overall score of an adorable kitten. The overall score is broken down into categories (the categories are not used in the basic game, but are in some of the variations). For the basic game the player with the kitten with the highest overall score wins the cards that round. My kids, who adore cats, love to play this game. It is good for my kindergartener as she has to figure out which number is higher. Sometimes we do get carried away gushing over the kitties. Highly recommended!

What is it about British men and kitty cats? Kitten War is a completely hilarious idea, born from the website of the same name. The book however, describes why each adorable kitten wins the Kitten War against the other unbelievably adorable kitten and describes what their strength and weaknesses are in military lingo. This is a crack up. And don't forget the Kitten War postcards and playing cards. Give them to someone you love. They will smile. A lot.
