I bought a Kitchenaid Mixer recently and got one of these at the same time, although I purchased it on a whim I am extremely pleased with this blender.
Like most people who have purchased Kitchenaid branded goods, I became so fed up of the cheap plastic rubbish from China and was so annoyed with appliances lasting only a few months before they needed replacing. I saved hard and purchased this brand. They are very expensive but they are so solid and come highly recommended.
This blender looks dated, but I like the look of it as it is retro. You can do so much with this machine and it has made life in the kitchen much easier for me. You can chop, crush ice, blend soups, whisk and make fabulous milkshakes and smoothies! Yum!!
Compared to other blenders I have had, this is very quiet to operate and is very smooth. The non slip feet also stop you from having to chase this around the kitchen when it is working.
It is also extremely easy to use and I love the simple buttons and design. There are very few places for food to get stuck which makes washing up a breeze!!
As you can tell, I am one happy customer! I will start saving for other Kitchenaid appliances now and I expect them to last for many years!

I tend to look extremely far and wide into the deepest corners of the internet for reviews and tests of pretty much everything I buy, be it a watch, a beard trimmer or a car and I did the same for this product.
I wanted a good sturdy blender for making health smoothies which consist or (each time) half a packet of fresh spinach leaves, half a packet of curly kale, 2 apples, handfuls of various berries, a banana and some water etc and even when the blender is packed to absolute capacity it turns the above ingredients into a smooth chunk-less smoothie in under a minute.
A friend of mine has been using the same blender for the exact same concoction every day for the past 2 and a half years and it is yet to fail him.
Top notch product, good price, buy it! You will not regret it.
