I bought this just to check I didn't make anyone ill when cooking chicken so just opted for a reasonable priced item with a good rating and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and ability it had!

You can chose what meat you are cooking and how you are cooking it i.e. rare, medium well etc. So no more guessing games when it comes to steak! A brilliant device that comes in very handy in the kitchen

This product is as good as its word. it lets you know when the meat is at the a certain temp. Downside is the temperatures for cooking beef are too low i wanted medium rare when it went off i check the meat and it was still blood rare so i had to cook it to medium to be to get medium rare and a bit more on top. i have another thermometer and this one you can use inside the oven and this one is correct with its medium temps which are higher than this device by about 10 degrees. but still a good piece of kit for just making sure your meat is being cooked on the inside.
