KitchenAid Silicone Ladle, Black[[ASIN:B001C7DEZ8 KitchenAid Omelette Turner, Red]

I thought this would be a great product, and it looked so attractive. I know silicone will not burn, scratch sensitive surfaces, and is so easy to clean. But here's the rub. I confidently laid the handle (of the pancake turner)on the pan. Alas, a melted gash appeared on the first use. Only the turner is made of silicone, the arm is made of plastic. Be warned!
