This is the blender of the future. It performs all the traditional blending tasks (crushing ice for margaritas, thinning ice cream) plus it can be used like a food processor (mincing garlic, puréeing peppers). The wide jar is rounder and squatter than old-style blenders, which makes it easier to reach in and scrape the sides (when the blender is off!). To reduce splatters of strawberry daiquiri, the Step Start feature starts blending slowly, then picks up to the chosen speed. For months I have been looking for a really good blender. Many times I have been on the verge of ordering this one but the 2 negative reviews held me back. However I bought this model last week and it really is Brilliant.
I make lots of soups, desserts and drinks and can not fault it at all. Yes it is expensive but is so well made and robust it will last forever. There is also a 3 year full warranty on this product.Do not do as I did and waste time choosing from the many blenders available, this is THE ONE and it is so easy to clean.

I've had one of these for the last year and can't fault it. Its a brilliant piece of equipment. Its tough, durable and you can even put the jug in the dishwasher. Does everything from making a great Margarita to pureeing food for babies to chopping the vegetables. And it looks good too (though mine is red, not crome). Brilliant!

I looked at every other blender before I finally justified getting this one.
O.K it was the most exppensive one around but if you are a 'foodie' who loves cooking and the idea of making great smoothies, this is for you!
Why? It looked hard wearing and had a lovely retro design.
Once I got it home, it was simply fantastic to use.

Some of the great features:
The buttons are flush so you can wipe the blender clean easily.
The glass jug attaches at any angle and comes off effotlessly.
This blender is a beast!I know it will last me many many years.

Not for serious smoothie makers
