The KitchenAid Artisan blender has a metal base and heavy duty jar which makes it robust, stable and durable. The powerful 500 watt motor and unique blade design allow for thorough blending and ultimate ice crushing, while the clean touch control pad has smart symbols which make for ease of use and function. Product Description
The KitchenAid Blender complements the Artisan Mixer beautifully, yet is a firm favourite within its own right. The heavy-duty glass goblet enables both hot and cold items to be blended, and prevents discolouration and odours from remaining. The hardened blade steel allows ice to be crushed easily with no additional liquid and takes only seconds to chop vegetables, fruit and nuts. Rubyan-ling - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)    I purchased this sturdy little blender recently and have used it several times a week to make smoothies with fresh fruit, yoghurt and ice cubes. The machine deals easily with the variety of textures- and within seconds, I have a lovely finished product. In addition to the ease of use, my machine is soooo easy to clean - I just fill it 1/3 full with warm water, and add couple of drops of washing up liquid. Zuzz it on full power for 10 seconds, rinse it (don't forget the lid), dry it, and it's clean and ready for use next time. It's a simple, no brainer. This blender is easy to clean,two drops of washing liquid and half full with warm water and press ice crushing stir for 5 to 10 seconds,and you are done! You should also know that with the new kitchenaid,the blade assembly cannot be removed from the blender jar.You can nevertheless clean the jar with no difficulties!So at you blenders...top...GO!!!
