This is the iPhone of kitchenware. Does it look as good in real life as in the photo? Absolutely. It looks great, has a sturdy construction, feels good in the hand and is easy to use and to clean. I can also believe that it will give years of trusted service - it certainly looks pretty difficult to break. Is it better than any other blender? Well, no, it's not. I can't say that it does a better job than my last, supermarket-brand blender that cost about a quarter of the price, though to be fair, I haven't tried the ice crushing yet, which my old blender couldn't do. Will I keep this blender? Yes. Like the iPhone, it is too beautiful, and though there may be a better version out there, I want this one.
