Ordered the glass bowl in addition to the steel one that came with the mixer. Very pleased. Sturdy glass and good design. Recipes often require two uses of mixer so this avoids having to wash steel bowl in between uses. Also cold enough for eggs and cream.

My KitchenAid sits in the corner with this glass bowl on it. I much prefer seeing what is going on in the bowl when in operation. It is easier to see if the bowl contents need a scrape down, although being thick glass, it is heavy. Goes in the dishwasher, no problems, and the snap-top lid is very useful.

Loved the extra bowl for the kitchenaid. Useful as a jug separately, fits well in the machine. It is quite heavy to lift though
