This cutter does cut the herbs to some extent but when pressure is applied the metal handle bends. I thought it would make herb chopping quicker which it possibly does but the blades do not always cut right through, pressure is needed then the handle bends. I would not recommend this item. I think the metal is weak and the product is cheaply made of materials not entirely suited to the purpose for which the item is intended.

The item looked fairly sturdy but when I used it, it bent. Instead of chopping it mangled the mint and was not at all satisfactory.

As soon as you apply enough pressure to actually cut through the herbs, the handle bends as the metal is too thin. Cheaply made and not fit for purpose - mine broke after 30 seconds of use!

Mint / Herb cutter
I remember as a child using a cutter like this, and it seemed to work! So when I found one again, it is just what I wanted, and it works!

cutter for cakes
Bought this for the wife,she makes cakes,even though this sais its a herb cutter she uses it for putting stripes of icing onto cakes.Good bit of kit for that. Read more
