A stylish contemporary, black nylon slotted turner for everyday kitchen use. The slotted turner comes with a soft touch, easy grip handle with chrome finish to provide a firm, comfortable grip when in use. With a long handle and made from heat resistant (to 210°C) nylon, this slotted turner is ideal for use in large saucepans, frying pans and also can be used in non stick pans as it will not scratch. It is also dishwasher safe for added convenience and has an integrated hanging loop for storage. The slotted turner is part of a comprehensive collection of long handle nylon tools available.

Realise it is only heat resistant to 210 deg C and I must have been using it at a higher temperature. But was just being used to lift a frying egg (which was cooked perfectly and not burnt, on a non-stick pan) and the edge melted - literally the first time I used it.
It is now rough and ragged and can't be used to cleanly lift eggs etc.

I love the Kitchen Craft range of tools.

It's neat, it's functional and above all, it's cheap! Great for flipping eggs without damaging expensive pans.
It's heat resistant up to something like 180 degrees centigrade, but it will of course melt if you take it over this or leave it in the pan.
Why or how there are one star reviews I'm not sure, it would probably cost more to drive to the shops than it is to have this delivered! If you treat this with care and are aware of cooking temp's, you'll be fine.

The build quality is great. It has a nice long handle so that you can flip the food without getting fat/oil spitting on your hand, and the head is huge compared to my old one that broke. So easy to flip pancakes and get eggs of of the frying pan. Very pleased with the purchase.
