I've been looking for a double egg cup for ages.
None of my local supermarkets or hardware stores sell them.
I bought 2 of these egg cups, they arrived in bubble wrap pockets in 2 enormous individual boxes that were placed in an even bigger box.
Amazon really do need to sort their packaging policy out, environmentally they should know better.
The egg cups are quality, they will take the biggest eggs and hold the smaller ones equally secure.
I have one at work and one at home.
Some years ago there was a health scare concerning cholesterol in eggs, which has since been proven to be total rubbish, therefore I now have double eggs about 5 times a week, full of protein and low calorie, the perfect food.
This is a great purchase that will last lifetime, they are little expensive, but if they last a lifetime, who cares.
Marked one star down due to the excessive packaging and being a little expensive.

I have been looking for a double egg cup for ages, as a gift for my grand-daughter, and they were all beautifully decorated and so expensive.I was delighted when I found these plain white ones so reasonably priced and the delivery was brilliant.Thank you.

My husband eats two hard/soft boiled eggs and to find a double eggcup holder was a great thing. He was so pleased and was giving it his thumbs up everytime he has his breakfast. Now i need to order a few more.

Good weight and even bigger and sturdier than expected compared to the product picture: the base is very wide, so these will never topple over. Lovely gloss finish. Seems to take a good (nay, free) range of egg sizes.
Close inspection by the hyper-critical may reveal the odd pin-prick in the glaze or a slight (or shall we say natural) deviation from millimetre precision: but I have to say that while I buy a lot off stuff and a wide variety of it, I've rarely if ever been so thrilled and delighted -- no, really, embarrassing isn't it! Oh, go on then: I'm eggstatic.
Excellently protected too, went fine through the international post. At this price it would be wholely unreasonable to ask for more, and if you want a double egg cup, or more, I suggest that this is the one for you.

When I was a very small child my mother tried to feed me a boiled egg. I turned my nose up at it and (apparently) spat egg out when she managed to get some in my mouth. I have never had a boiled egg from that day onwards until a few months ago when for some unknown reason I decided to boil myself an egg. It was lovely but I had no egg cups in the house. I bought the double egg cup for obvious reasons (it holds 2 eggs) and use it for lunch at least 2 or 3 times a week. Excellent value, am very pleased, both with the egg cup and myself.

Arrived in good time. Over - packaged in my opinion. I know they're porcelain, but 9 meters of bubble wrap?!
