I bought this as it was fun to look at, did the job and was cheaper than all of the other large egg baskets I've seen before. I wasn't dissapointed. The packaging and speed of delivery from the seller was great and the product itself is lovely.
It now sits in pride of place on our kitchen bench filled with lovely fresh eggs from our chickens. There is space for almost two dozen eggs inside. Although keeping a track of the new and old eggs with that many of them inside proved tricky, so we now keep about 15 eggs in this basket.
Overall we love it, it definately does the job and looks quirky and cute at the same time. What more could you ask for from an egg basket!

Looked everywhere for a quality egg basket and there's certainly a lot of rubbish out there. This one is perfect whether you have a modern or traditional kitchen style. The wings even flip up to act as carrier handles!

I ordered this egg basket because I wanted something a little different, and more modern than the traditional clay / ceramic chicken baskets. It's great - it looks fantastic, and is just as described. When you have a lot of eggs in there, it can be a little awkward to get the older ones from the bottom of the pile - but not enough to detract from the overall product.
