A recent change of kitchen sink meant that my old sink strainers no longer fit. I bought this one to go in an regular 1.5 bowl stainless steel sink. It works very well although in our case needs to be emptied every day but that isn't due to any shortcomings in the strainer.
What seems to be missing from a lot of strainer descriptions are the dimensions so here they are (approximate):
Outer Diameter : 3 inches (7.5cm)
Strainer Diameter : 1.75 inches (4.5cm)
Strainer Depth : 0.6 inches (1.5cm)

Great item. I bought this to stop hair going down the plug hole whilst having a shower. It works realy well and stays in place and when not in use, because its crome you can't tell its there. Much better than the plastic ones. Highly Recommend !!Kitchen Craft Stainless Steel Sink Strainer

This is the perfect strainer for the bath. I have had one for a long time and have searched to replace it with the same product.
It is so beautifully made that it is totally unobtrusive and practically unnoticeable.
The mesh is close so it catches even the smallest particles and prevents blocked plug-holes.
It is also very easy to clean and is long-lasting.
I highly recommend it.

Difficult to Empty

Rusty Rubbish
Perfect fit in the sink plug hole, but within a couple of days the mesh went all rusty and looked horrible. A complete waste of money - utter rubbish.

Went rusty after first use
