OK as a grater and really good for grating the cheese and not the fingers.
But i do agree with the other review, a bit tricky to clean but good advice is to put the kettle on and pop a bit of boiling water just over the drum it melts most of the cheese and makes cleaning a bit easier.
One and only gripe my black handle has fallen off and wont fix back on but i would buy again after all its a fairly cheap item..

Amazon Verified Purchase
This cheese grater is based on an old and excellent design. Unfortunately the press that is used to make it is slightly less well machined than it used to be. The result is that hard cheese makes the cheese holder tip forward, instead of being held in place by the gripping arm. It's very cheap to buy, and would work well with everything except hard Parmesan cheese. Unfortunately that was EXACTLY what I bought it for............

More Robust Than It Looks

Cheap feel to product
Bought as a present and the recipient thought it was a really cheap gift that I'd spent only a few quid on. It has sharp edges and bends easy and feels cheap.

Good overall
Not the best quality product, it is a little flimsy and doesn't feel particularly durable. Nonetheless it does the job very well and it more than adequate for my needs.

cheese grater
Grates cheese and goes in the dishwasher but not as sturdy as my old Mouli grater which eventually rusted away after about 30 year's use.

Poor product
Maybe if I had bought the metal one it wouldn't have fallen apart! Cheese got caught inside in the drum and became a big lump stuck together! Ended up throwing it after one use.

Don't bother
The metal is really flimsy and feels like its going to break even with normal cheddar. I tried to use with parmesan and didn't work
