Easy to use. Simply constructed and looks robust. Has a levered sucker underneath to prevent movement while in use.
Just make sure the potato is not too tall to go throught the grid as once partially through and caught in the grid it is a bit hard to remove it. The two grids supplied are 9mm and 13 mm sizes.
I would add to the design a rectangular shaped dish to fit in front of the chipper to enable the chips to fall into it once through the grid. The chipper might then have to be a little bit taller. My personal preference is for an additional 7 or 8 mm grid for thinner chips.

This is a fabulous chipper. The action is smooth and easy. Like an earlier reviewer, I was bugged by slivers of potato apparently sticking in hard-to-access places till I remembered that the blade is easily removeable (idiot).
It comes with two blades - one for standard chips and one for skinny chips. It's very solid and robust and has a suction pad underneath to stop it slipping when used. The potato goes through the blade easily when firm steady pressure is applied and the lever is comfortable to use. The blade pops out quickly for washing and spare blades are apparently available (I'm going to look into this because I want a fat chip blade. I'll re-post if I find a replacement blade supplier).

I have had this chipper ages and used it so much I passed it on my daughter and treated myself the more expensive Masterclass version, which is also great. Home cooked chips are brilliant!

Nice bit of kit so far!

Excellent product
Sturdy and robust, but don't try to put too large a spud in it, cut it in half first. Bought this to supplement my Tefal Actifry, and everyone loves the fresh chips I'm now making.

Strength needed!
This is OK for the price. The potato has to be a medium sized one as any bigger just won't fit. To press the chipper takes quite a bit of strength so I don't think it'll be me... Read more

bit to small
i brought this chipper nice little machine but it is to small i would recommend that amazon put measurement of the chipper on site if you want a chipper buy the next size up

Easy to clean and as long as potatoes aren't too big it makes perfect chips with ease :) only wished they did a larger blade for chunkier chips but suppose i can't have it all!?!
