KitcheCraft Lettuce Knife features a wide permanent stay sharp serrated blade for cutting salad, fruit and soft vegetables. The lettuce knife prevents the browning of lettuce leaves often caused by metal knives and is ideal for use on non-stick sufaces without causing scratches. Thomas Plant was founded in 1850 as a family owner wholesaler of ironmongery and houseware products. Today the company is still family owned and it maintains the same values and traditions of its founders. Since the 1990's the company has focused solely on developing its kitchenware brands.

Does exactly what it says. Cuts lettuce and avoids browning effect caused by metal. Was delivered in timely fashion. It is a little larger than I would have ideally liked, buts that's a personal thing.

I really like this knife. It's not very sharp, but sharp enough I'd say, I cut onions, tomatoes (a bit tricky), carrots, cabbage (again, a bit hard), various fruits etc...well this is our only knife....and occasionally, my own fingers(!). But, of course nothing happens! Also, noticed after a few months, the knife is still as sharp as it first was.

I would give this 5 stars... if only I could find a way to install Linux on it!! ;)
