A big mouth and a wide bottom make for excellent steamed milk.,

This milk jug stands out from the crowd for two reasons. It's got a fantastically wide lip to pour from and the "bulbous" bottom. For general use as a jug, these aren't particularly appealing features but when you're going to use it for steamingh/frothing milk for your coffee both are great things to have.
The broad, non-pointed mouth of the jug makes spooning or free-pouring frothed milk much easier than your usual pointed pouring spout. Sweeping off the froth or holding it back is much simpler. The bulbous base serves as a useful guide for pouring your milk - indeed I almost always fill to the top of the bulge which gives me enough milk for two drinks and plenty of space for froth on top. It also seems to help with the actual frothing, whether it helps the milk circulate better with the steam or that it makes swirling the milk while it's being steamed a little easier I'm not quite sure - but since using this jug, the quality of the milk foam from my coffee machine steam wand has greatly improved. The "wire" handle does a good job of keeping any heat from your fingers and the stainless steel finish wipes clean easily, but it's also dishwasher safe should cleaning become too much of a chore. All things considered, it's a great jug for steaming milk with your home coffee machines - highly recommended.

Nice and sturdy product with wide pouring lip, but too big or too wide?! Couldn't use it with the De'Longhi Icona unless the jug is at least half full with milk since the nozzle on the Icona is not long enough to reach the milk. So great if you need milk for a latte or two, but not if you just want to make a cappuccino!

I bought one of these for my husband, as he is into his coffee in a big way, that is from making it to drinking it.
What he likes about this jug is that the size is just right for his machine (an Elektra). We have got two other jugs already, but not with the bulbous bottom this has. It makes just the right amount of milk to froth for two large coffees without it going over the edge. The pouring on it is excellent, no drippy pour, as sometimes you can get a jug that does not pour properly and you are forever wiping up the spilt milk. Also it feels solid, but not too heavy and best of all dishwasher proof, it comes out looking nice and shiny with it being made out of 18/8 stainless steel. I have also found another use for this, that is for using for pouring mulled wine out, no spills means more to drink! A great addition to the home for anyone who likes making milky drinks and needs a functional hard waring jug. Become a barista for a day with using this and experiment making your own mochas and such like!
