We use this type of arrangement to make coffee all the time but have previously purchased them on trips to France. Great to know we can get a replacement any time.

Real coffee again, at last. After having searched for some years for this type coffee making set and disenchanting coffee machines and cafetiere, it's nice to have a good cup of coffee again after every brew. - Warming the jug with a bit of boiling water from the kettle, moistening the ground coffee with a bit of water in the filter, before filling it with the required quantity of water and placing a fitting saucer on top of the filter would help the process. - You could add a little pinch of salt, ground cinnamon/clove to the ground coffee before any water for enhanced flavour.
