Unfortunately these nut crackers are not very strong and only good on hazel nuts as they will break if too much force is used when cracking tougher walnut or brazil nuts.

I have had 2 sets of these, blamed the kids for breaking the first! .... replaced them, used them to crack a few nuts myself and they broke in exactly the same place as the first ones..... you get what you pay for! Will spend a bit more next time.
