These little glass jars are very dinky, and the perfect size for homemade preserves as gifts. However, the catches can be tricky if they slip out of place, and in one instance, broke altogether, rendering the jar unsealable, therefore useless. Also, when I bought the recommended pack of replacement seals, I found to my dismay that they only fitted the larger 7-oz and 12-oz jars. On the plus size, my red tomato chutney looks amazing in the surviving jars!

Bought these to replace some "Le Parfait" jars & although they're not nearly as good, I've had no problems so far. The metal catches aren't very strong & I've been extra careful when using, so they don't slip & bend. Ultimately, you get what you pay for & these are very good value(if they behave themselves.) A classic, stylish & cheap jar.

These little jars are cute & just the right size for storing my kitten's treats.

What can I say....
It's a jar with a lid on it. Excellent quality, good supplier, brilliant price. If you want a small jar with a lid, get these!
