Rinsed the hammer when I opened it. Used the hammer, good at mashing. But when I washed the hammer that night in soapy water, all the silver came off. Didnt think it was important for it to remain 'shiny', but when I used it again, my hand ended up all black. Have returned item, and awaiting a refund

well. I bought a meat tenderiser...to tenderise meat.
Its hefty without being too heavy, the pointy bits are not too pointy.there arent too many fine ridgy bits that food can get stuck in.

Good quality hammer
It is a small and handy meat hammer. But you can't use a dishwasher to clean it and it's not very heavy either.

Releases a grey residue after being washed
What is that grey/black residue it releases after being washed? is that toxic? Straight to the bin, I hope nobody at home will get sick because of that.

Easy to use and clean, only downside was that the coating wore off very easily (this didn't actually matter to me).

Meat tenderizer.
What can I say about this product? I thump meat with it, it does what it says and tenderizes the meat I have just thumped. Good product. Good service.

I wanted something reasonably priced that would do a good job and this fits the bill perfectly. We now have meat that is delicious and doesn't take an age to chew.
