I was delighted with these when I recieved them, 3 sizes of jug meant I could use the smallest jug to accurately measure right down to about 25ml, difficult to do with the (broken) pint measuring jug that these replaced. Having 3 is also very convenient if you are getting the ingredients together for a complicated recipe with several liquid ingredients.
The description on this page says that you can wash these jugs on the top shelf of the dishwasher (as did the tag that came with them) so I have done so. However, after a few washes this way the largest jug developed fine cracks, though it was still perfectly water-tight, after another couple of washings the other two jugs began to do the same and I realised that the dishwasher must be responsible. After 11 months the crackling on the largest one is very bad, but they are still all usable (the other two aren't nealy as bad) - though worryingly, if pouring hot liquid into them they make cracking noises as you do so, though thankfully they haven't cracked apart yet, they do give the impression that they are about to do so every time you use them for hot things. Even though I thought they were excellent, initially, now I wouldn't recommend them to anyone unless you didn't mind that they aren't really dishwasher-proof, and I'll be going back to pyrex for the next jug I buy.
