I couldn't find baking beans anywhere so I was really pleased to find them on amazon. Packed in a handy little plastic tub and enough beans to fill a good sized pie case . I'm very pleased with my purchace

Ah the joys of blind baking pastry- one tub was fine for my 12 small tartlets. Cover your pastry lined tins with tinfoil, pur them in, and prebake. At least with ceramic beans you don't have to chuck away any overbaked pulses. Just let them cool fully before you pour them back into the tin for storage (they do get pretty hot!). They last for years.
