Down firing low Q high resolution subwoofer
Turn off shake to shuffle on your iPhone or iPod and... Tear it up with the fat, tight bass which will be all over your house in super high resolution with this bad boy. It might only be 22W RMS but we are not talking cowboy watts here. You can feel the bass pumping in your chest.
Aluminium HF drivers
The cones allow for a dynamic range of up to 90dB. The metal construction means that you can crank it all the way to the top, without your ears filling with nasty distortion. 2 x 16W RMS may not sound a lot on paper but belive us - it is plenty in real life - again these are not the monkey watts you may find on a lot of other equipment.
Serious dB
MAD LOUD - the KitSound BoomDock will make your room shake while you shake your ass (watch yourself) it is capable of producing sounds of up to 110dB SPL (@1/2m), which is as loud as a nightclub (we do not recommend you expose yourself to this level of sound for the sake of your hearing though).
Real wood cabinet
No plastic here folks - this is a rock-solid production. We are using top secret blend of MDF on the cabinet to give you lovely seductive tone and an honest depth to your music.
Hand finshed in the finest high gloss piano black
We drop seven, count them - SEVEN coats of piano black on the KitSound BoomDock to give you a sleek shiny finish that gleams away smugly to itself.
Remote Control
Heavy functionality from this sucker - full access to all the menus on your device:it allows you to cycle though Artists, Songs, Albums, playlists etc and then select from the list from each menu.
Bass and Treble
You can actually adjust the bass and treble to suit. We find that if you have a busy song which has been encoded at a low bit rate, you can just knock the treble down a notch to smooth it out. If you are a bass fiend, you can rack it up for even more if you want. If you worry too much about your neighbours at 3am in the morning then you can drop some off, but still enjoy the party.
Phono input (Auxiliary in)
2 x RCA component inputs allow you to connect additional equipment to the KitSound BoomDock - Cd players, your TV, a record deck or even an old tape player for some trips down memory lane! Just imagine busting out that 'Now 8' twin pack or taking the flatness out of the sound on your flatscreen.
AM and FM radio on board

Well, i've been looking for an docking system for a while and i came across this unknown name on amazon. Thanks for
the reviews guys, without them I wouldn't have bought this superb sound system.
As I've been always a fan of separated sysytem, i only believed in amp+speakers+cd player, but with kitsound, it's a different story now.
I still have my separate cambridge A5 + gale gold speakers, cost me over £250, don't get me wrong, they produce great sound; but now kitsound totally won my heart over, i just couldn't believe how good this all built in docking speaker is. Volume is loud enough to wake up your neighbours, treble is clear, bass can shake the floor, I absolutely believe this is one of the very best iopd docking speakers in the market right now.
Ps: my mate owns a B&W zepplin, sound is amazing, but to be honest, my kitsound is as good as his B&W, according to my ears.

Many docking speakers struggle to make themselves heard, either because they don't have the volume or lack clarity. The Boomdock doesn't struggle.
The volume range goes from a whisper to absolutely, bloomin' too loud. Really, standing right next to this thing, I couldn't turn the volume to full. My sister gave it a go and the windows literally shook, whilst small objects danced across the table. If you like loud music, then you'll like this, the neighbours though... For me I couldn't really conceive of a time when I might need to play music that loud, that might just be me, but it's nice not having to struggle to hear over the sound of everyday background noise.
The Boomdock really handles bass notes well, you can feel them in your chest and through the floor and furniture. They never become loose and flabby at high volume either, retaining a definition as good as your music file. In fact audio quality isn't diminished for the sake of quantity at all and you can get as much out of a track at any volume.
A docked iPod can be utilised with the remote control, so you have effectively a very decent home stereo, and one that has cool, understated design.
Versatility hasn't been forgotten about either and there are multiple options with the boomdock. Having standard left/right audio in jacks, other audio equipment than an iPod can be connected. I tried with a Sony Ericsson w995 and got satisfying results, though the full range of functions that you get with an iPod aren't available. Televisions and computers ought to work just as well. An FM/AM radio and alarm clock function complete the range of features.
The asking price in light of this review is reasonable as other docking stations in this price range and higher may find it hard to compete with.

Excellent piece of kit. Sound quality nearly as good as far more expensive docking stations such as Zeppelin. Stereo separation not quite as good as Bose, but for the price, very good. At high volume, distortion is low. Bass and treble controls work properly. The treble is clear and crisp and the bass full without booming. Easy to use- no need to read the instructions.
Finish is black high-gloss and it is heavy and feels good quality.
Couldn't get the docking stations adaptors to work with 5th generation nano, but that could just be me. Had an adaptor with the nano which fitted fine.
Normally listen to music on very high quaility system, and get frustated by poor quality music reproduction, but really enjoy using this.
