Amazon Verified Purchase
The title says it all. When it arrived I inspected the PSU and found it was only rated at 650mA and not 1000mA.
When tested on a 500mA load, the voltage dropped from 5.1V to 4.6V. Not very good for any kind of PSU, and certainly not one which should supply 1000mA!! It seemed to be adequate to charge my Sony Walkman, so it's not worth returning.
Amazon should update the advertised listing ASAP, as this is very misleading.

This is just as good as the apple plug which of course they don't supply with the Ipod and who is going to charge from there laptop every time the Ipod runs out of power The time it takes the computer to recognize it is reason enough to buy this plug Good sturdy plug at a great price what's not to like

Got this to charge up my mother-in-law's electronic ciggie (she has no computer and the iCig needs a USB port). Does the job just fine.

Do any of these **** things work
Could only charge 1 particular item, a set of Zen sound travel speakers but nothing else. Today 1/05/11 it won't charge anything even the red power light stays off. Read more

Bargain
Exactly as described, cheap, does the job, can't ask for more! Perfect for charging iPod Touch 4G with the cable it came with. Would definitely recommend.

Dont Buy this
This is simple really. I opened the box, plugged it in and it popped, dead and useless. I couldnt even bring myself to send this back i was that disappointed.
