After being disgusted at the price of travel cot mattresses in a few of the high street stores (many more expensive than the travel cot itself!), I was delighted when this arrived. Mothercare's cheapest was £26, and only slightly thicker than a quilt, the quality was nowhere near as good as this one. I did see one fairly similar at Babies R Us, but it was twice the price when you took delivery into consideration when shopping online. It is thicker than many of the others I've seen which makes it a bit bulkier when travelling, but it survived being folded over and crammed into a case unscathed - no creasing or going out-of-shape.
The thicker padding made it more comfortable and my one-year-old son slept well every night on holiday. I am pleased that you can remove the cover for washing, and it was a great fit for my travel cot.
Very happy with my purchase, and will use it regularly for trips to the grandparents from now on.

This was brought because travel cots come as basic. Have not been dissapointed, and still good as new 1 year on.

Perfect
So much better than the flimsy matteress thar came with the travel cot. My daughter actually sleeps better in it now. Whereas before it was a powernap. :) glad I brought it.
