About the Author

Alan Eltron Barrell was born in South Africa in 1983, where his great grandfather was once Senator. He wrote his first book when he was sixteen years old and has been writing ever since. He has lived in several countries around the world, including Kenya, England, Wales, Cyprus, Spain, and Belgium, and enjoys touring America on his various research expeditions. Here his real passion lies, for that phenomenal period of migratory movement that culminated in the great rip-roaring Wild West. As a writer he has a passion for satire and understated humour, and says he developed a pretty good sense of humour the day he discovered his father s father s Godfather was made a pair of sandals by Mahatma Ghandi.

when it comes to me there are a few interesting facts to take into account; first off i've never been what you would call a true western "fan" i like the genre but i don't "love" it! secondly I absolutely "detest"!!!! story books/fiction books (i have never really enjoyed a story book during my relatively short existence of 20 years), tried a few in the past always dropped them like the plague, the only books(few) i'd ever enjoyed have been non-fiction books of a subject matter i was interested in, thirdly i'm not a very avid reader whatsoever! make no mistake I would never force read a book!if I didnt like it i just would of dropped it like countless other story/fiction novels). so in effect I am what you would call a hard sell, no where near the demographic for this book, how the hell do I get a guy to read a western novel who first off hates reading fiction, story books secondly doesnt even like the western genre that much and isnt even an avid reader? so to cut a long story short
in my opinion the fact that I truly enjoyed this "story book/fiction novel" looked forward to finding out what happened next, where the characters were going , who lives who dies the outcome of it all, is a testament to how great this book really is,!!!! funny thing is if someone told me if you were to read a novel a big "if" what is the last genre you'd want to read I would of probably said western, boring old western, this is just more proof of how good this book has to have been for me to have actually enjoyed it/loved it, it has everything a great book should have and more, interesting likeable characters, great dialogue, great action, crazy violence, shock and awe moments, great plot, the dialogue stands out from the crowd, bit of old fasion crudeness thrown in, 18plus levels of violence, black comedy, at the same time some heavy subject matter as well. great job 5 stars from me, I look forward to the sequel!
