The years 1992-2000 may not exactly set your heart pumping when it comes to Kiss. On paper they were the years when their bare faced period petered out and they decided to turn into a circus style act that went around the world recreating the 70's. A four (plus bonus) disc of the era shouldn`t be this good. But it is. Any Kiss fan will marvel at the fairlytale reunion in 1995 for the "Unplugged" set, and seeing a fit and disciplined reunited line up doing their first gig (although the camera work isn`t great) is a joy. The highlight of the set (in my opinion) is Kiss destroying the MTV Video Music Awards in 1996, when they were on top of their game on the 'Alive/Worldwide' tour. There is a winding down after this as stomachs get bigger, chins multiply and band members seem to lose their hunger. When it's good, though, it' very, very good. Also included is Kiss earliest known footage from 1973, although historicly important is a bit ropey. Buy with confidence!
