I really love Kiss and I'm one of those suckers that just buys Kiss stuff because it has Kiss on it, so of course I would buy this. The documentary bit is OK but not very in depth as I would have liked in hindsight but still I bought it for the concert section. The sound is really good and the songs sound quite strong although Paul Stanley bottles the high notes in "I was made for lovin' you". What annoys me most on this disc is the camera work. As mentioned by someone else previously the constant flickering between shots can be very off putting and there is not real focus on of the band members because there is shot of the orchestra then the crowd all of this with what seems to be a moving camera. It can be very irritating once you see your 450th gurning crowd member. We know you were there and enjoyed it but I want to see the bands show! Even Gene's bass solo is interfered with and you would have thought that it would have much more focus on him. Had I listened to the previous reviewer I would have stuck with getting the CD version as then you still have the great songs with the orchestra but none of flickering between pictures, the visuals aren't enough and do not give you a great sample of the Kiss live show experience.

Having already stated that 'rock the nation' is the best dvd by kiss this comes fairly close,for a full review see my cd review,but in summary this is fantastic,like the mtv unplugged release kiss confuse the critics by proving they can adapt,dont delay just buy and prepare to smile from start to finish,this is really enjoyable and the aussie fans during the documentary part are nuts,good rockin everybody!!

Absolutely ok this DVD. Good Rock Music. The editing is ok concerning my taste. A bit of documentary, a lot of concert.
A must see for Kiss Fans. An entertaining treat for non-Kiss fans.
It's ok. That's what it is.
I rented it to watch it and I probably won't buy it.

Poor Editing
I have over 200 music dvds in my collection and this dvd is by far the worse. After 10 minutes I just could not continue watching it because of the rapid editing and I am clueless... Read more

WHAT A SHOW.KISS DOING WHAT THEY DO BEST,ROCKING OUT AND GOING TOTALY OTT.BUY THIS DVD , IT IS AN ESSENTIAL IN ANY ROCK COLLECTION.
