One of the great unsung heroes of TV comedy, Chris Langham, came up with another gem here. Gentle, heavily sarcastic, and brilliantly written, with an excellent cast including Mr Langham himself, Caroline Quentin, and a surprisingly good Amanda Holden, the only questions are these - why no series 3 on the BBC, and why no series 2 available on video/DVD?

This show is fantastic--I simply love all the characters, and the marvelously sharp (but often understated) dialogue. I'm begging for the DVDs to come out...I'd love to have the whole series to watch again and again. Caroline Quentin is wonderful, as is Chris Langham, and...well...the whole lot of them!

I'd love to see series 2 especially the ep where they disappeared through a trapdoor leaving Douglas on stage to sing a Tom Jones song. Is there anyone I can petition about releasing it? Brilliant comedy
