My 2 1/2 year old loves this book, as do I since it's a big help in getting her to go to bed.
The story is simple and the illustrations are a delight. Not as complex as, say, Pumpkin Soup but great for the around 2 - 3 year old mark.

This is such a lovely book for bedtime. Both my girls have enjoyed it between the ages of 18 months to 3 years.
We used this book as part of our nightly routine for a few months. The pictures are interesting but not cluttered, which gives enough to talk about, without being over exciting at bedtime. We copied the actions of Mrs Bear (yawning, hands behind back, kissing Sam). They spotted the mouse on some pages and counted the toys. By the end of the story, both girls were ready for bed.
The book has been repaired several times, but the bear has survived better.

Kiss good night Sam is a lovely bedtime story, beautifully illustrated and a my 2 1/2 year old loves it. We do all the good night kisses with the story and the final bit where Sam says goodnight and goes to sleep works a treat for my Son who copies it and goes to sleep. A fabulous snuggly story for getting little ones off to sleep.

A well read book
My daughter reads this or 'You Can Do It, Sam' every night before bed - she loves them to bits. Both are lovely stories and they are wonderfully illustrated. Read more

Brilliant
