This book nearly cost me my life, it should carry a 'danger to health' sticker on it. Do not attempt to read in the bath...... Kiss Chase, a side hugging, belly bursting, eye wiping treat that I simply couldn't live without. Having read it for the fourth time, I found myself finishing the last page, and starting immediately over again. Felix, Phoebe, Saskia and the gang are vividly written and strangely familiar characters, and if ever there was good advice on how to get a man - then the purple contact lenses work for me! If you want to buy someone something special this year, buy this!

I loved this book. I've enjoyed all Fiona Walker's books (Snap Happy not quite as much as the others!) but I fell in love with the characters in this book instantly. Phoebe is funny and honest, a Fiona Walker heroine at her best. I've read the French Hotel, Dinner party and end scenes so much I could recite them to you! You know what it's like when you can't wait to re-discover a book when you haven't read it for a while, well I want to do that now! Note to author: please write a sequel your characters are so lovably funny and mixed-up.

Great 25 Feb 2007
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Got to agree with the other reviewers; this is one of her best books. A bit slow to start, I wish Felix had come into the story sooner but once he did I just kept turning the pages for more! Loads of humour, romance and heartbreak - I will definietly be keeping this one on my book shelf. My favourite thing about this book was that the author didn't wait until the last two pages before she united her characters like so many romances do. They get together half way though so you get to enjoy a couple of hundred pages of their relationship together. Read it.

Breathlessly sexy
Well, let's not beat around the bush here - the plot to Kiss Chase (originally published in 1995) is downright ludicrous, even taking the genre into account. Read more

Fab read
Got straight into story and was immediately engrossed. Lots of humour, lust and squirmy uncomfortabe parts for main character. Would definately read another of this authors books.

Ok, it's not great literature, it's not improving or educational but it is very, very funny! I'm not a fan of chick-lit usually, it's all far too cliched and all those ditzy girls... Read more
