This bag has real leather trim and the straps are long enough to wear the bag on the shoulder. The bag has a small outer pocket to the front and a large centre pocket with zip, diving the bag into two sections. The bag also features a smaller zip pocket to the interior, a key finder and an organiser.

I bought this when it was one of the black friday deals. I wasn't sure of it simply because it's a shoulder bag and that was my only concern. When I unpacked it, I was super pleased. Yes, it is a shoulder bag but the handles aren't so long that you can't carrit it like a grad bag. This is how I will be using it. I have the Joanne in black coated too and must say it's a really nice look. Unlike previous reviews I do not think this effect lessens the bag at all. Because it has a slightly grainy look to the finish, it doesn't shine like a pvc bag or bin liner would! As I have many kipling bags, this certainly passes my test:
1 - key chain
2 - two large inner compartments that easily hold an A4 pad, books, make up bag, scarf, brolly, bottles etc. The opening is perfect as some are narrower at the top.
3 - middle compartment (separates the two large inners mentioned above) with zip - perfect ot keep your brownie purse in!
4 - phone pocket and pen holders
5 - front pocket under the kipling logo - perfect for tickets/ passes etc
A previous review mentioned that the zip on the complete bag opening doesn't go all the way to the edge. This is true, there is approx and inch gap on either side but on the side where the zip finished is a stud so you can fasten it. This is far too small an opening to let water in or someone's pick pocketing hand so I wouldn't worry about that. Most bags this style don't have the zip, but rather a thin flap! Overall I am super pleased with this considering I would never go for a shoulder bag.

So glad I ordered this bag. It is a great size, fits loads in and has been greatly admired by everyone who has seen it. It is the first Kipling City bag I have bought, I usually go for the basic range, but I doubt it will be the last. Prefer the monkey on this bag to the usual fluffy ones.

Bought this bag because I liked the look of it and when it got here it was bigger than I expected. Love the size as I can get everything into it and love the look. Wondered why I didn't get one before.

Sorry, this is not a normal standard Kipling bag! The fabric is cheap and nasty, the sort of thing you would pick up for three quid down the market, or find on a freebie wash bag. Read more
