Bought two Kingston 1gb memory cards to improve my MacBook's performance. Worked like a charm. It became a lot faster at every task, and can now use Leopard Snow without any glitch. The operation itself (changing the memory cards) was as simple as it get, since to access the spot, one is needed to remove the battery and three screws. Everything else is based on lever action and slot placement.

I bought a pair of these SODIMMs through Amazon. At first the payment confirmation said 1 to 3 weeks for delivery so I was pretty miffed. It actually turned up after 2 days!
The new memory fired up on my Sony VGN-N21 laptop without any trouble and has substantially improved the sluggish performance I was experiencing, particularly when I was running any Java VM software (Firefox, Open Office) on top of Vista, as well as Norton 360.
