cheap and cheerful 22 Jan 2007
The price just keeps going down ... this much storage for this price has to be good, and this is a dinky little toy, but in my experience transfer speeds are slow ... maybe about 20mins for 2Gb.

These USB memory sticks just keep getting cheaper and their capacity greater. I have a few different Kingston memory cards and like the rest, I've had no problems with this. It works with Windows Vista without any additional software needing to be installed, transfer rates are quite quick, the cover can be clipped on the end so it doesn't get lost and you can attach a lanyard if you want. At the time I bought it I compared it with similar devices online and from local shops, and even allowing for the postage and packing, Amazon came out cheaper.

As other reviewers have said, the postage costs are almost as much as the stated price of the device which makes price comparison more difficult, so be aware if you are comparing. That said, I would still buy this again from Amazon unless I could find it cheaper elsewhere.

Can't complain. 31 Oct 2006
By Jaz
Cant complain for £20. Got there in three days. Have been using for over two weeks and think it's class. Very quick with USB 2.0, moved two 800mb files in less than 8 minutes nearly as quick as burning a disk. Not found one cheaper. Definitely recommend.

Not very robust!
Only used for a few weeks and the plastic started to split on the sides. Within a month the use USB had come away from the plastic so has to be binned as it was not safe to use!

Does the job
What can you say about a stick? I bought one a while ago. Kingston stuff isn't too bad. It does what it says on the tin and it hasn't conked yet!

2GB USB 2.0 Flash drive
The device supplied to me was nothing like the picture! However I would say mine was far better. It was blue and had a hinged metal shield for the USB plug. Works fine.
