Got this drive this morning and immediately tried putting it through the paces. It claims read speed of 70MB and write speeds of 30MB. HD tune pro benchmarking set its average speed at 67.7MB/s( not quite the 70MB claim but very close) with no speed bursts or drops. Transferring 8Gb of small files took just under 4 min and transferring a single 8Gb file took 3.5 min. This averages 36MB/s write speeds which is great for such a cheap drive. I'm glad I read a few reviews before buying because other drives in this price range can be temperamental but this drive is brilliant. The only criticism I can think of is the plastic housing(seems light) but time will tell if that is a true weakness.

Also the USB port I used on the pc was an integrated ASmedia USB 3.0 using ASM104x drivers.

I got this memory stick to transfer large files quickly. For this purpose it's absolutely perfect, via USB 3 it will write files at 32MB/s which is impressive. It also reads faster than a normal memory stick via USB 2, although I haven't tried writing to it on USB 2.
It came formatted as FAT32 which suited my purpose so I haven't changed it.
If you're fed up waiting to copy large files, get this!

Great. Write speed on a rough test is 3x faster than my current Kingston G3 DataTraveler 16GB. And not even using USB 3, just USB2. Also, like that you can retract the connector. Keeps it tidy and dust free. Again the G3 DataTraveler has a cap which you have to take off and can easily mislay. It is more expensive but worth it.

This was a good USB but not worth the price, I had found a USB that's 32gb USB 3.0 as well and it was going for cheaper than this, I bought that because I lost this one.

This is my first USB 3.0 memory. It is impressively fast in a USB 3.0 socket, and notably faster than any of my USB 2.0 sticks in a USB 2.0 socket. Note that in a USB 2.0 hub it was not recognised at all. I presume this is true for all USB 3.0 memory.

I love the fact there is no cap to lose on this device, just retract the outer casing and that's it. Plug and play.

This is a perfect memory stick for every day use, does seem faster than USB 2 (could be a bit of a placebo). Anyway, as USB 3 does become more widespread in technology it is worth while investing in it.

Overall good product, no complaints

Quick loading and seems good quality and worth the money. Not let me down yet, but not expecting it to either
