Hi You must check the exact model number eg A1304 + serial number. See this article http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook-air/macbook-air-faq/macbook-air-how-to-upgrade-the-hard-drive-swap-for-ssd.html If it is one of the later 2009 then as it says here virtually any standard SATA will do The A1304 - 2253 use a standard 2.5" drive so this connector will not work https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/88707/What+type+of+hard+drive+does+the+AIR+a1304+use

I would say no, because the Samsung drive has PATA interface and this drive is micro SATA
