While first glance similar to the classic 1st generation Kingston DataTraveller, the casing of the G3 is much fatter, making it impossible to plug this in next to another USB device.
Also, the keyring slot is quite narrow with a wide piece of plastic above it, making it unnecessarily difficult to get onto a keyring. I can see why other reviewers found this impossible.
Obviously Kingston have never heard of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
On the plus side, the build quality and data transfer rate are what you would expect from a Kingston USB stick (unlike some of their cheaper ones).
Basically this one is only for those who have a love of the design of the 1st generation DataTraveller, and it will annoy even them.
EDIT: Forgot to mention keyring slot.
